• RHS London Spring Launch & Orchid Show, 7-8 April
• RHS Botanical Art and Photography Show, 17-18 April
• RHS Flower Show Cardiff, 17-19 April
• RHS Malvern Spring Festival, 7–10 May
• RHS Chelsea Flower Show, 19–23 May
• RHS Chatsworth Flower Show, 11–14 June
• RHS Garden Harlow Carr Flower Show, 26-28 June, (although the RHS will investigate if Harlow Carr can be moved into July)
Statements from the NAFAS Board of Directors
When a demonstration is cancelled at short notice, it is hoped that clubs will reimburse in good faith the demonstrator for money already expended on flowers etc. as per the contractual obligations of the Blue Form.
NAFAS asks that Clubs and Demonstrators communicate over any cancellation, and come to an agreement over any payment. We would hope that only out of pocket expenses would be claimed. Perhaps Clubs could put the cancelled presenter to the top of the list when they do the next Club programme. Those who are self-employed will find it hard, but we must balance that against health, sense and making the most of the difficult times we are experiencing.”
The Twenties weekend in Leicester
Message from the Board of Directors at NAFAS
It is with much regret that we announce the cancellation of The Twenties
Weekend in Leicester this August. Many of our members had booked
tickets and a great deal of planning had gone into making this event a
special occasion for all those attending.
Our grateful thanks go out to all those involved in the organisation of
the event and in particular to our National President, Sue Brinton, who
was the driving force behind the Twenties Weekend. This would have
been a fitting tribute to Sue in this her final year in office.
Unfortunately, due to the advance commitments of many of those involved,
we are unable to rearrange this event.
For those members who have booked tickets, a refund form will be sent to
you with instructions on how to claim your refund and we ask you to
please bear with us on this process.
Please circulate this information and upload to social media – thank
